Outrage is mounting over a shocking Associated Press report published late last week revealing that at least 250 migrant infants, children and teenagers have been locked up for nearly a month without adequate food, water or sanitation at a Border Patrol station in Clint, Texas, near the city of El Paso.

Lawyers who visited the facility described a scene of chaos and sickness, with children unable to shower or change into clean clothes [/FONT]for weeks on end.[FONT=&] The AP report came the same week that the Trump administration argued in federal court that the government is not required to provide toothbrushes, soap or beds to children detained at the border, and as other reports found similarly squalid conditions at a number of immigration jails. We speak with Warren Binford, a lawyer who interviewed children detained at the Clint, Texas, facility.

First CenterleftFL, I have to ask. If you find this so horrifying, why are you still here posting about it instead of rushing down there with aid and comfort for these children? Why is your vehicle not packed with supplies and why are you not racing down the highway to assist these children? You and the other "3,000"(HA) liberal protestors that somehow found the time and money protest lamely with a dumb fuck Trump baby balloon. I will tell you why. You are a modern day progressive. Sit around all day looking for stupid things to post to make things look bad and not doing one fucking thing to help it. Not a damn thing. To busy eating fucking cheetohs screaming at a computer screen.

But we have heard government officials say, we were just caught flat-footed on this. We built these facilities, as you said, for single men, and now we have this influx of children. We simply don't have the capacity or the staff or the funding to properly care for these children. And Congress needs to pass more money, so that we can do our job better.

Is that your sense of what's going on there?

That's exactly what I'm hearing from the Border Patrol officers who spoke to us privately in the hallways. They are on our team. They don't want the children there.

They — many of them are parents themselves. They know that these children don't belong there and they need to be with their families. They're saying that ORR and ICE are not coming to pick up these children and process them, so that they can be reunited with their families.


This all comes down to Congress. Democrat controlled Congress not doing their fucking job. Too busy posturing, grandstanding, whining, jumping from self made crisis and drama to self made crisis and drama and wasting the peoples time and monies on superfluous horseshit. Because you are incapable of action or leading. Of which assholes like you and others approve. So if there are deaths because of this it is being caused by Democrats and progressive liberals in this country. You could all easily do something right now to ease it. You all truly do just not give a fuck.
