With all due respect what we have going on right now isn't free market capitalism. Between tariffs, trade wars, government bailout of farmers, the disrupting of supply chains and favoring industries isn't free market capitalism. There is more than just that as well. Trump is a big government protectionist.

So no, I think there would be a big difference between forcing people to film in Georgie, and forcing people to have health insurance. The former doesn't really have a good reason, whereas the latter is to keep taxes down.
I prefer government only get involved for very important reasons. Forcing a director to film in Georgia doesn't seem to have a big benefit.
