Taliban Kill Woman for not Wearing Burqa

With the Taliban "women's rights" are:

To be covered in a burqa
To do what they're told
To be beaten if they don't
To be treated as chattel
That was still happening in Afghanistan while we occupied the country. The large cities were the only place women had some rights.

Not America's problem. Where in the Constitution are Americans required to spill their blood and treasure to help foreigners?

I'm with ya here...I totally agree that we had no business being in Afghanistan.

It was just to invade Afghanistan and destroy the threat to the US. After that, the military mission was over.

And we didn't even really destroy the threat, we just pushed it into Pakistan.

What's really interesting is that the announcement Bush made to give Pakistan $2B in military aid a year was almost the exact same day that Osama bin Laden is reported to have made it to Abbottobad.

I don't live at Atlantic Station, and it is definitely not "a ghetto"...it is expensive as shit, just like all housing in the Atlanta metro area.

But housing is real cheap in places like Carrollton...but the downside is that you have to live in Carrollton.

You can still ponder the fact that you will forever be a liar and a coward...in Carrollton.

Twitter says the Taliban can have an account as long as they are not " too violent "....guess they still get to keep their account after this

But, but, but... I saw a Taliban leader on TV saying they would respect women's rights.

Is it possible these people are jot entirely honest?

You failed to demonstrate to anyone. We can argue about who later. As if we don't know that it's just your hard-on for Rana. ;)

Disagreed, but that's not my concern.

Why do you think I have a hard-on for "Rana"? You're the one getting all upset with her. I'm simply agreeing with Sophia and others that you are a fucking moron....a soon-to-be divorced fucking moron. LOL

They were never honest under Bush, Obama or Trump. Only a fucking moron would think they are trustworthy now.

That said, how many more American lives do you think should be wasted in Afghanistan?

LOL, that would imply that I really give a shit. I know exactly who you were. You don't mix it up very well. I've never had a sock and never will. You were embarrassed by your election predictions, so you created a sock. Enough time has passed and you've 'come back'. LOL. Sure, pal. Moderators don't know every sock. All you need is another email.
It appears that you know how to get a sock.

All r-mails have IP’s.

Name the sock that you think I assumed and I will give permission to the moderators to prove it, one way or the other.

You?

We were on the path to destroying threat, even in Pakistan. With victory in sight, fucking Bush diverted to Iraq and left the job unfinished.

GW fucked this up in 2003.

Me, upset? That's fucking hilarious. You're the one getting all hot and bothered here. When's your trip to Houston? Make sure to bring a large container of KY, because that old hag will surely need every bit of it.

Taliban kill woman for not wearing burqa
Taliban fighters shot and killed a woman for not wearing a burqa in Afghanistan Tuesday — the same day the group pledged to usher in a new inclusive era in the country that honors “women’s rights.”

A photo emerged of a woman in Takhar province lying in a pool of blood, with loved ones crouched around her, after she was killed by insurgents for being in public without a head covering, according to Fox News.

The killing came amid the outfit’s version of a charm offensive, after its swift takeover of the country in the absence of US troops, who had been propping up allied military groups since shortly after the September 11, 2001 attacks.

Illustrating the futility of American involvement.

Well, almost. It's a string of pearls, but they don't go around the neck. :rofl2:

Ah! More like beads? I'm guessing Earl likes the big ones. LOL

I've seen the assimilation, the cultural mixing.

Races and ethnicities blend, and I alluded to that in my post.
Ideologies do not, however, and therein lies the American division.

Here in Boston, Middle American mores are unacceptable. Repugnant, in some instances.
My act doesn't play in Tulsa or Omaha or Wichita, either.

There is no inclination toward coexistence. We repel one another as long as we're trying to share a government or tax codes.
If we weren't, however, we might make better neighbors than countrymen.

We don't want the same things. It's not that we care what others choose to want.
