Thank you Donald Trump for handing the House/Senate back to democrats.

if 92% of voters don't like their current Congressmen how many of their current congressmen will get 50% of the vote........

You just switched from saying Congress has an 8% approval rating to each individual Congressman has an 8% approval rating. Which is it?

It's actually not like that. Most people approve of their own Congressman, and think that the rest of them suck. That's why most of them will be re-elected, and without meaningful opposition in many cases.

true. but I've found its not even approval. It's name recognition of their Congressperson.

I'm mostly interested in the Kid Rock/Debby Stabinaw race for Michigan Senate......in her campaign web site the only thing she has been able to come up with as accomplishments for her years of service is her approval of Obamacare.......I don't believe she's ever sponsored legislation that passed in 18 years.......

Yup.
Always have, always will.

That's why Congress always has such low approval ratings.

So funny to watch anatta rail against this Congress as if it different than any other.

No you fucking moron it is because Congress critters at least try to put their own constituents first.

Some people have actually met their Congressman, and, they always "seem like a nice guy." I haven't met Adam Smith, but, he's physically been on my operations floor a couple of times. I shook hands with Rick Larson, of the WA-2nd, about 15 years ago at a 4-H event.

Met Ted Kennedy numerous times, of course we lived in the same small town.

Met John Kerry once, Bill Weld once
Even met Mel King once.

Was the Duke of Chappaquiddick drunk or sober?

:shots:

Helped him load 10 cases of wine on a ferry luggage cart to Nantucket for a weekend.
No idea how many guests there were to be but he had about 6 young men with him who I guess might have been secret service.

Ted did more for the poor and the vulnerable and the under-represented than any other politician ever.

His legacy is incredible.

Oh yeah, forgot about Tip O'Neal.
He was a regular at an Inn where I worked in my teens.

He was a very powerful politician at that time.

Republicans hate Ted...
He was a real life Robin Hood...
