I don’t think Democrats are excited about the actual results, as I said, they were largely predictable, but that they now have, or seemingly have, a deliverable message to be identified with and run on, as Carville said, “it’s the economy stupid. They’ve moved away from the save democracy/woke image they were burdened with in the last few elections.

Now how they sell that theme is where they divide, but given the next election isn’t national, it could work by region. Stefanik will have a hard time of it beating Hochul if she sticks with the Trump attack themes
