That is not a tidal wave.

The House has been so extremely gerrymandered that it is even worse. There are only about 40 seats that are competitive, with slightly less than half of them held by Democrats. The most the Republicans could gain is 18 or 19. A more realistic number is 10, or less. They need 8, and probably have a 50/50 chance of getting there.

The popular vote is only important in seeing the direction of the country, but it is worth looking at. It is unlikely that Republicans will get the majority of the popular vote. Sorry.

They DON'T NEED TO "WIN THE POPULAR VOTE", which is nothing more than California and New York.


They will win the precincts, districts ,and states.

we can't really expect to win five.....but we are likely to win four, and keep the two R seats which are open......that will give us a 54-46 majority which would be our biggest lead since 2005.....
