It needs to be emphasised over and over that the Chinese have some pretty disgusting practices, not least their wet markets. They are ideal breeding grounds for new viruses. Kindly take your PC claptrap and shove up your arse. They didn't just infect their own, they passed it to Korea and Italy, the latter due to the huge number of Chinese there building Belt and Road projects.

Intentionally or not "things" can originate from geographic locations. Animals, food, drink, fashion, technology, music, textiles, diseases, etc.
