The circular logic of "millions believe it was rigged!"

You've have a POTUS tweeting every day, almost on the hour, that the election was rigged and had "massive fraud." You have hundreds of members of 1 of the 2 major political parties corroborating that constantly, and spreading the mantra of "massive fraud." You then have all levels of punditry and "journalist" on the right repeating the same mantra, to millions of loyal listeners and viewers.

Then, all of them cite the fact that many actually believe them as "proof" that what they're saying is true.

What a mystery.

As Bugs Bunny said, "What a maroon!"

All this proves is that the Radicalized Right Wing Extremists would believe anything without proof if they hear it on FoxNews, OANN or NewsMax.
It just proves how naive and gullible they are. They'd believe anything fed to them.
Even the Kraken.

Isn’t it a pillar of talk radio and demagoguery, if you say it enough, valid or not, people will believe it?

Many on the right have grown up in that environment, if you hear something you like it is automatically true, regardless, and if others believe the same, it has to be true. There are prior Top 40 AM disc jockeys who have made themselves into millionaires preying on that reality

As has been proven every ridiculous step of the way, we had a fair and honest election. Trump and the rightys are a serious threat to one of the basic freedoms in the country and the Constitution. This is a lot bigger than the jerk in the Whitehouse. It is chopping at the foundations of America. If millions are so gullible and weak-minded that they will accept right-wing lies as truth, how do we fix things? Their craziness was afforded a lot more respect than it deserved. It is dangerous. Think about the long term effects?
All the Trump lies will be exposed. Some are coming out now like herd immunity. Trump repeatedly lied and 40 percent of the people did not have the background to laugh at it. They really believed it all.
Can we recover, or does the fascist right deserve to run the country forever? They should be above the vote and above the people.

Hello BartenderElite,

Thank you!

Classic example of a president who whips up rumors, then cites the rumors he whipped up.

And the absurd thing is he has been carrying on about all this evidence for over a month but nothing credible and substantial has emerged.

He is simply hoping/wishing and putting it out there to try to draw it forward, but it has not materialized.

Because it simply is not there.

There's no there there.

Hello archives,

Isn’t it a pillar of talk radio and demagoguery, if you say it enough, valid or not, people will believe it?

They heard it from somebody who heard it from somebody who thought they heard it from somebody else.

And none of them bothered to ever check it out.

That's not validity.

That's just repetition.

There's no there there.

Hello Nordberg,

As has been proven every ridiculous step of the way, we had a fair and honest election. Trump and the rightys are a serious threat to one of the basic freedoms in the country and the Constitution. This is a lot bigger than the jerk in the Whitehouse. It is chopping at the foundations of America. If millions are so gullible and weak-minded that they will accept right-wing lies as truth, how do we fix things? Their craziness was afforded a lot more respect than it deserved. It is dangerous. Can we recover, or does the fascist right deserve to run the country forever? They should be above the vote and above the people.

All of that nonsense is being revealed. When the Biden light is flipped on, all of the bogus dark rumors of the right will suddenly vanish because it was all just smoke and mirrors in the first place.

But naturally, we can count on the right wing talking heads to twist it around to give their followers some way to cling to the ruse.

This whole Trump thing is a huge money-maker for them. They can't let their followers wise up. That would be like shooting their golden egg goose.
