I think some of you are victims of media manipulation and really don't believe the 1/6 protest wasn't a hate filled coup d'etat attempt.

Well, this is just ONE MORE bit of evidence that intelligent people would consider as proof positive that almost everything they believe about Trump, the GOP, Trump supporters and patriotic Americans is false.

One of the Capitol police officers took a selfie with someone who was part of the mob that overtook the Capitol and the other wore a "Make America Great Again" hat and started directing people around the building, according to Rep. Tim Ryan, an Ohio Democrat. He didn't disclose how many other officers were under investigation but confirmed it was between 10 and 15, and didn't say what they were being scrutinized for except that it was their behavior during the riot.
Ryan told reporters that one individual had been arrested, but a spokesperson for the congressman later said he was wrong and no members of law enforcement have been arrested.

The spokesperson said at least 10 Capitol Police officers are being investigated for their roles in the riot.

If you want to use the dictionary definition, insurrections were going on throughout most of 2020. Still are, in some places.

As a formal, legal charge, that standard apparently hasn’t been met yet. Maybe the Trump insurrectionists should switch teams, that way, they can escape prosecution. Make their lives easier. Makes sense, anyway.

The violent attempt by Trump and the mob should be dealt with by the death penalty.
