"central casting" or "a look" is Trump's #1 criteria for hiring and thus why he has so much incompetence around him.
Think Alina Habba and Lindsey Halligan both put in as Acting US Attorneys and given key cases Trump wanted prosecuted when they could not prosecute a parking ticket without fucking it up.
Both got laughed out of court and Trump lost his trophy prosecutions due to incompetence but he cannot help himself, as he is stupid, and does not respect competence over looks. he will always choose 'a look', if he can.
In a way Trump's incompetence is one of the biggest benefits the left and his enemies have.
