"THEY JUST WANT A BETTER LIFE”(but not in their own countries)
Here are some demographic realities worth noting.
(1) Nigeria by itself already exceeds the total births of Europe and Russia combined (roughly 7.6 million vs. about 7.45 million in 2025 projections).
(2) India by itself already exceeds the total births across Europe, Northern America, and Australia/New Zealand combined. Even under the assumption that every birth in those Western regions is of European descent, India’s ~23 million births in 2025 are roughly twice the Western total of about 10.6 million.
Western governments and institutions generally treat immigration from high-fertility regions, including parts of Africa and South Asia, as necessary for addressing low native birth rates and aging populations.
Opposition to high levels of such immigration is often treated as socially or professionally risky in western societies.
