Averaging it would be completely pointless without also including the margin of error value.
You are correct. There is no 'global pH'.
Local conditions, even the depth of the water, results in a different pH reading at a particular location.

Volcanoes do not cause ice ages.
If one erupts during the spring, and sends massive particulates into the air, it can reduce summer temperatures that year for a wide area. The winter rains wash that stuff out of the atmosphere and its all perfectly normal the next year.

There is no 'feedback'.
No gas or vapor has the capability to warm the Earth. To claim such is to completely ignore the 1st law of thermodynamics.
You cannot create energy out of nothing.
