It’s not illegal so long as no one is using a fake name.
It should be exposed for what it is, bad faith and unethical, and the voters should decide if it merits casting both down from consideration (it would for me).

Not as I understand it. He does share a first and last name but different middle initials. Part of the Times article was the story of the search for someone with the same name to do this with.
But not using someone with the same name. This is unprecedented. Not to even speak of it being childish.

That's not the point. The point is how far Peltola's campaign went trying to trick voters. It's one thing to stack candidates but to actively search for those with the same name is an insult to voters' intellegence. This will backfire, giving some advantage to Sen. Sullivan. If they had just stuck to the issues I think Peltola would have been a shoe in.
