Most Trumppers wouldn’t use the word “nigger” any more, at least not in mixed company. Not in public.

The new word against a minority is “Tranny”. In 10 years they will claim they would never have used the word, but they will use it today.

They are the same people who shouted “nigger” 15 years ago.

Is tranny even a slur? It's just another way of saying trans or transvestite. Things that involve trans will often use the term themselves.

I used to roll my eyes when people said we need to teach more black history than we do, but maybe I was very wrong. Wow.

Do you know who uses the n word the most today? Young people, specially Mexicans and some Asians.

There are plenty that don’t accept it but young people are growing up in a very different time.

So are those folks all Trumppers? Interesting dynamic if young POC are now voting Republican.

Tranny isn't a slur any more than beardo is. The most derogatory insult there was fattie, and even that is just being a jerk. It's not a slur to call someone what they are. That would be like getting offended for calling LL Cool J black. If you wanted a slur to make this point, you'd be better off with the c-word.

Wow. Not trying to derail the thread but 1) can I give a shout out for name dropping LL Cool J, he’s my second favorite rapper behind Too Short (that’s an Oakland thing)

And 2) I was just listening to his BAD album 15 minutes ago. My mind is blown. Haha.

It’s comparable in context of my point, they are both derogatory and both pervasions of another less derogatory word.

Jarod, there are lots of slurs used to describe people (hell, I learned a new one yesterday that guno called Marco Rubio). There's only one n word. And you choose to say the word, twice!! Doesn't matter that you put quotes around it.

It's a really poor analogy, and that's offering grace.
