The one question on Iran no leftist can answer. Why 60%

I was reading a story about a person who travels to Iran about 4 times a year. She says that Iran needs zero. Iran has many trading partners, including China , India, and the Brits. They are doing fine. They can wait out the stupid Trumpys.

It is also irrefutable that if one is using uranium for peaceful energy production purposes one does not need to enrich uranium past 5%. I have read some places maybe up to 20% (but I am no expert)

I have yet to come across any source that can justify enriching uranium to 60% for peaceful reasons. The only reason to enrich to 60% is because it is that much easier to enrich it to 90%.

So until a board leftist can answer this one question reasonably, I will not even take them seriously on this issue. Case closed.

Not one Trumpy can tell us why Iran stopped at 60. Why didn't they go to 90? If they wanted a nuke, they would have kept spinning.

Right, they're not, and they're deadly religious fanatics who need to be stopped since they won't stop themselves. It's the one and only thing Trump seems to have understood about this war.

Because it allows them to stockpile highly enriched uranium with a fig leaf of cover story until they accumulate enough at 60% to know that when enriched to 90+% for weapons use, they have sufficient in hand to produce say 6 to 10 bombs. That is necessary because owning just one or two means you don't have a credible threat.

Once they have those bombs, they can switch to plutonium production using a breeder reactor and make more. The reason they didn't go that route is, again, it is obvious and that would get them smacked down for it.

We attacked them for far different reasons than nukes. Iran has shown they have no interest in nukes. They could have made them decades ago, We attacked them because Trump kowtows to Bibi. Israel has asked the US to attack Iran since Reagan. Only one president was dumb enough to do it.

Iran has an interest in nukes. They keep getting disrupted in getting one but that hasn't stopped their interest in one. On the other hand, with the fall of Iraq and Saddam, Iran has now become the leading country in exporting and supporting terrorism. That's a problem too.

Leave it be, ignore it, and we circle back to another potential 9/11.
