The Republican War on Science Continues --- OPEN DISCUSSION

Why should socks like you care ? You ain't even man enough to be ONE MEMBER. Haw, haw.......................haw.

How did your thread end up here? Did he/she just c/p everyone's posts?

Yes, I am copy/pasting the posts that I feel like responding to from the original thread and I am responding to them in this open discussion thread, since I am "banned" from the OP's thread. I do this whenever liberals attempt to take away my right to have and express an opinion. It typically shuts down their own threads in the process, since people typically prefer open discussion to 'echo chamber' discussion.

I will respond to whatever posts I feel like responding to, one way or another...

It’s actually an unintentional compliment to Owl.
No, it's actually a condemnation of Owl, and other liberals like her who think they can hide in echo chambers and stop people of whom they disagree with from expressing their opinions... As you can see, it doesn't work.

There are certain liberal posters, like Owl, whose writing, posts, whose themes, and insights are so extremely interesting, so riveting and gripping to a coterie of wingnuts, that they cannot help but follow her around, read what she posts, think about it, and follow it up with copy cat threads.
I have no need to stalk forum users. I simply scroll through thread titles and if anything interesting to me pops up, I click it and if the OP is interesting, I read through it and respond to it as well as other posts. If I am "banned" from the thread, I simply create my own thread and respond in that thread.

Personally, if I find a poster unbearably boring and insipid, I generally completely ignore them. Owl’s fan club on the rightwing is a testament to how extremely interesting her threads, writing, and posts are.
You wish to play in the kiddie pool. Got it. Same with Owl.

Personally, I chalk it up to a consuming, and perhaps unhealthy, rightwing obsession with Owl. But I leave it to the mental health professionals to make the final call.
Psychoquackery.

You have no right to have or express an opinion on this forum, ignorant fuck.

Hello ThatOwlWoman,

We can't get rid of Trump soon enough.
Well, your party couldn't beat him in 2016, so now your party has been trying to forcefully remove him from office since those ever so 'triggering' election results came in.

We have got to make progress on clean energy.
We already HAVE clean energy. Coal burns quite cleanly now (at least here in the USA). What needs to be "cleaner" about our energy?

Hopefully, he gets impeached. If not we vote him out.
Impeached for what? You can't simply impeach a President that you don't like...

He's history. DARK history.
Nah, he still exists in the present.

As you can see below, Leftists can't even stay on point in their OWN thread... Why are we discussing religion in a thread about the "Republican War on Science"???

The other thing to consider is that, as I understand it, this is a poll of religious Americans - not a poll of religious people world wide. I would need to understand if the hasdiac tradition is proportionally the same in the United States, as it is in worldwide Judaism.

The bottom line to me is that conservative and orthodox religious traditions have lower rates of educational attainment.

And I do not think anyone is shocked by this. We could have easily predicted that Baptists and Pentacostals would have less formal education than Quakers or Jews.

you are correct

a very tiny portion of the jewish population

No, modern orthodox and conservative judaism are the majority of Jews in the united states and we stress education and knowledge , thus high high viability in medicine sciences and the law , in addition It was also due to Jews being kept out of other pursuits

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Modern_Orthodox_Judaism

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conservative_Judaism

I stand corrected, and I probably could have used a better choice of words, because the term Orthodox does not neccessarily mean backwards or uneducated. The Eastern Orthodox Church I am familiar with is a testament to this.

Hello ThatOwlWoman,

I think that's a given.

No one has been more motivational for the Democratic party than Trump.
Okay. And no one has been more motivational for the Republican party than all the clowns the Dems have put on the national stage. They reject damn near every bit of the US Constitution. Since y'all are SO far off topic within YOUR OWN thread, I'll detail just how much liberals openly hate the US Constitution. If this ain't motivation to vote Republican across the board in 2020 and beyond, I don't know what is:

** They reject the limits on the legislative powers of Congress. (thus rejecting Article I)

** They reject the executive powers of the President if they happen to not like the President, and they reject the Electoral College. They reject the proper method and reasoning for removing a President from office. They reject the enumerated duties of a President, especially the duties of preserving/defending/protecting the US Constitution. (thus rejecting Article II)

** They reject the scope and role of SCOTUS and other inferior courts. They believe that SCOTUS are the sole interpreters of the US Constitution. They believe that SCOTUS are oligarchs. (thus rejecting Article III)

** They reject the Republican form of government that is guaranteed to the States. They reject protecting the States from invasions and domestic violence (especially when relating to immigration). (thus rejecting Article IV)

** They reject the formal amendment process, and instead regularly misuse the court system as a "work-around" to that. They wish to transform the USA into the SOA (Socialist Oligarchy of America). (thus rejecting Article V)

** They reject legislating in pursuance of the US Constitution. (thus rejecting Article VI)

** They reject that the States (collectively) are the owners of the US Constitution. (thus rejecting Article VII)

** They also reject many of the Amendments to the Constitution, and actively fight against people's inherent rights (such as the right to have and express an opinion, freedom of religion, right to keep and bear arms, due process, etc...)

That's a problem for the right. There are a lot of progressives who normally don't pay much attention until you do something really radical right.

THEN you get their attention.
I'm shaking in my boots... not...

Look out, Trump.

You've got attention.

You may not want it, but you've got attention, alright.

You wanted to be the center of attention, you got it.
Paradox. Irrational reasoning.
[1] You may not want attention.
[2] You wanted attention.

Which is it?

Starting tomorrow in the US House of Representatives, in public hearings.

Enjoy!
Nancy still needs to hold a vote on impeachment... I hope she's dumb enough to actually go through with it.

Here, we see yet another prime example of someone who is completely unable to form argumentation on their own, thus they must rely on other people to form their arguments for them.

Legislation is not science.

Yes, raw data is important. Statistical Mathematics REQUIRES the use of raw data for any statistical summary.

Yes, that is an issue.

There is no such thing as the "fossil fuel industry". We do not use fossils for fuel. There are many better fuel alternatives, such as coal, oil, natural gas, nuclear, hydro.....

Learn how to form your own arguments, instead of regurgitating what the NY Times says...
