The Right/MAGA/GOP's favorite religion and ideology

Core Beliefs and Traits
Divine Authority: Believing that a national leader or state power is directly sanctioned by God to enforce biblical or moral law.In-Group Purity: Insisting on cultural, ethnic, or religious dominance while marginalizing non-Christians, minorities, and secular groups.

Mythic Past: Idealizing a historical or fictional golden age where the nation was supposedly purely Christian and culturally unified.

Patriarchal Control: Promoting rigid traditional gender roles and the nuclear family as the foundational building blocks of the state.

Christian fascism
No such thing. Buzzword fallacy.
(or Christofascism)

is a political and religious ideology that blends right-wing authoritarian politics with Christian fundamentalism.
What is 'right wing authoritarian politics'? Buzzword fallacy. I doubt you even know what a fundamentalist is.
It is characterized by strongman leadership, strict social hierarchies, and the use of religious law to govern the state.
The United States is not Islam.

You are just AI? No wonder you post random shit.

The United States is not Islam nor a theocracy.

It's still culturally unified, despite the Democrats wanting to tear it apart.
Patriarchal Control: Promoting rigid traditional gender roles and the nuclear family as the foundational building blocks of the state.
So you hate the family. Sucks to be you.

Religion has long been used to control and exploit people.

We could be a theocracy just like Iran, if the Magatards could get their way.

The Nazis and Hitler were big on mixing theology (Christian and Norse myth) with authoritarian practices.

This thread belongs in the religion section.
Your hate for the religious has been noted long ago.

Once again you confuse hate and truth-telling. Pointing out the truth -- Joel Osteen is a fake Xtian grifter, some priests are pedophiles -- does not mean the speaker hates anyone, let alone all Christians. Do you think that not liking Mamdani's or AOC's politics means that you hate everyone on the Left? Of course not.

That chip on your shoulder gets heavier with each passing year.

Good morning Fowl,

No confusion whatsoever. Never heard of this Osteen.
I won't argue that some have used Christianity for financial
gain, but most are good, charitable people and support
local communities with food drives, donations, etc.
The hatred expressed on this forum, especially for Evangelicals,
has been overwhelming. You cannot deny...

That chip has been put there by people like you.

Again, you confuse righteous criticism with "hate." You in particular, and MAGATs in general, think those of us who criticize Trump for his constant lies, dishonesty, incompetence, corruption, adultery, cheating, etc. "hate" him. Most decent Americans do not want religion of any flavor inserted into our law and our government. We loathe the idea of living under a theorcracy like Iran and other Muslim countries. We correctly rebel when an American religious leader or a particular sect pushes this. Evangelicals are prone to want to have their religion taught in public schools, their prayers said at public meetings, their symbols placed on public property. America has prospered because we are a secular nation. We aim to keep it that way.

You appear to suffer from hate yourself, and like to project that onto others. You see it accurately in a few others here, but are unable to see it in yourself.

This isn't about Trump, or your hatred of him. You express that on a daily basis.
When those things were taught in school years ago, you didn't see the gun violence
you see today. That is a fact, isn't it? Whether that was a contributing factor or not, is
debatable. But our generation wasn't violent like kids are today. Also a fact, no?

Yes, I admit I hate those who hate me, criticize my parents or my being adopted.
You obviously won't criticize them. Will you?
