That's why they had boosters, which were also effective on the variants.
Lots of people died, not only in the US, but around the world.
If either of those worked, they are both to treat covid infections, not prevent COVID infections.

I never claimed they prevented anything. They successfully treated covid but the medical profession shit on both of them. I thought medical decisions between doctors and patients were no ones businesses. Pharmacists refused to fill scripts of ivermectin. The media called it horse dewormer even though it had been used on humans for decades. That shit had NOTHING to do with science thats why you're a dupe

They prevented people from getting COVID. It wasn't perfect, but vaccines never are. Like I said, I got vaccinated and boosted, we travel on packed airplanes to packed cities, went to restaurants, Broadway plays, on boats, amusement parks, etc and had no issue.
Agree that MUCH of the reaction was an overreaction. I hope we correct some of that overreaction when the next deadly pandemic hits.
Doctors refused to prescribe it because there was no evidence that it worked and a doctor can lose their license by prescribing medications that aren't shown to work.
Don't care what Fauci thinks. Don't care what the media thinks. When I start making medical decisions based on radom beurocrats or the media, just shoot me.
Oh, so you're moving away from the vaccine to other stuff. Ok.
None of that changes the effectiveness of the vaccines, but if it makes you feel better, go with it!

Again, what is the last medicine you bought or were prescribed that didn't work? I regularly buy - Ibuprofen (works), Sudafed (works), Claratin or Zyrtec (both work). I take Allopurinol (sp) for gout and it's worked flawlessly for nearly 2 years. My co-worker and another friend both take a GLP-1 that works.
You think those are all coincidences? Like pharmaceutical companies just throw a bunch of shit into a vat and hope?

Why do you think it normally takes a decade to get new drugs to market? The companies spend years doing clinical trials to make sure their shit works and is safe.
And, no, my question isn't irrelevant. The fact that ALL the medications we buy actually work is the single most relevant aspect. You want to ignore it in favor of your conspiracy theories.
