ahhhh, hyperbole. the best indicator that a person knows their argument is shite. Not quite. It was to ensure the people of each State had the security a well regulated, Armed Militia would provide. According to your wacky re-writing, in which they want “everybody armed” you would arm prisoners, mass murderers, insane people, demented people, senile people, suicidally depressed teenagers, toddlers, babies and 100 year old great, great grandmothers with Alzheimer's. Heh– I guess that’s a gun nut’s idea of Nirvana, but it sure as hell wasn’t the Founders’.
From ‘The Founders Constitution’:
Article 1, Section 10, Clause 3
“Article VI. No vessels of war shall be kept up in time of peace by any state, except such number only, as shall be deemed necessary by the united states in congress assembled, for the defence of such state, or its trade; nor shall any body of forces be kept up by any state, in time of peace, except such number only, as in the judgment of the united states, in congress assembled, shall be deemed requisite to garrison the forts necessary for the defence of such state; but every state shall always keep up a well regulated and disciplined militia, sufficiently armed and accoutred, and shall provide and constantly have ready for use, in public stores, a due number of field pieces and tents, and a proper quantity of arms, ammunition and camp equipage."

LOL. Says an egg who can’t write properly and wouldn’t recognize what the Founders meant if they spanked him with the constitution all year.
and my point is solidly proven by your own post. I'd be happy to teach you other parts of the constitution when you're ready.
