The Schumer Shutdown thread

I was shocked to see that the shutdown that Trump was proud to own, is now by blind ass rightys, called Schumers shutdown, Did Trump's words get erased? He sais clearly that he owns it. He was proud to own it. How can rightys take that proud and stupid decision away from him. Trump said he would not blame Pelosi and Schumer. But as soon as he did, the rightys jumped on board. Can you guys think a little? This is Trumps shutdown. It is jiust that easy. The house, senate and Trump had all agreed to a CR. Then Trump, not Schumer, reneged.

I cannot imagine most thinking people thought Mexico was going to pay for the wall. But it did get lots of applause...and I suspect that was the reason for the line, not honesty nor intention.

I also am interested in securing our borders. I just don't think a wall is a significant part of that. And I am totally convinced that the war over the wall going on right now...has MUCH less to do with border security than with a perception that a campaign promise was (somehow) kept.

I would love to see the Democrats hold out until January...and then pass a bill in the House identical to the one Trump agreed to before Limbaugh and Ingrham got involved and see what happens in a Senate vote and possible veto if it passes.

None of this right now if about border security on either side of the aisle. It is all about politics...and I think Trump has helped make it a win for the Democrats.

Nobody believes that a wall will do anything to help border security. It's just trump pandering to the 30% of the country that is ready to vote for him again in 2020. Personally, I don't believe he'll run.

Trump will resign when it gets too hot. It will. He has his fingers in so many crimes that he will flee before the weight comes down on him.

NO...THEY CANNOT THINK IN ANY REASONABLE MEANING OF THAT WORD.

They are puppets...dancing to the tune being played by the puppet master...and the pullers of puppet strings.

This is a disgrace to the Republic. Trump...and his sycophants ARE A DISGRACE TO THE REPUBLIC.

Other than that...Merry Christmas to everyone. Hope the holiday is a rewarding one for everyone.

It is the one thing he can do for the Republic for which I will commend him.

I believe so. When Dems. control the House, Mueller's report cannot be buried by Nunes. He simply cannot keep claiming 'fake news', as all the evidence from his co conspirators' testimony surfaces

It is incredible what Trump's chumps are able to do in order to avoid the reality of what that disgusting abomination is doing to our nation and, by extension, to the rest of the world.
