‘There is NO GOD’ Stephen Hawking’s final revelation of the afterlife REVEALED

Well, unfortunately he now has all of infinite eternity to painfully regret his "view". :(

“The Bible is the word of God"
"How can you be sure it's the word of God?"
"Because the Bible tells us so"
"Why believe the Bible?
"The Bible is infallible"
"How do you know it's infallible?"...

The famous theoretical physicist died in March this year at the age of 76 but left behind some truly astonishing predictions in his final book which has just been released. One of his bold predictions in his book titled Brief Answers To The Big Questions was that God does not exist.

He described his claim there is no afterlife or higher power as a “profound realisation”. Professor Hawking wrote in the newly-published book: “We are free to believe what we want, and it’s my view that the simplest explanation is that there is no God.

All Stephen Hawking could do is make a blind guess about whether a GOD exists (or gods exist)...or no gods exist.

That is all any of us can do...make a blind guess.

Some blindly guess there is a God.

Some blindly guess there are gods.

Some blindly guess there are no gods.

And some of us just say, "Why bother?"

It was his personal opinion, impossible to prove one way or another.

Is there anything wrong with believing in God?

It's too bad he died, I would have liked to hear what he had to say as a follow up. All you can prove is God exists but you can't prove God doesn't exist. I think his follow ups would have been very interesting.

No.

But calling a blind guess a "belief"...and then demanding that people give your blind guess respect because you call your blind guess a "belief"...sucks.

Theoretically...it is POSSIBLE to prove a god exists...IF A GOD EXISTS.

If no gods exist...it is impossible to prove one exists.

So we are back to: All one can do is to make a blind guess.

You posted "NO"...but the rest of your reply says "yes". Who's "demanding" respect?

Hawking was a brilliant physicist, I'm guessing there was more to his opinion than just a blind guess.

I posted that there is nothing wrong with "believing" a god exists.

THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WHATEVER WITH "BELIEVING' A GOD EXISTS.

THERE ALSO IS NOTHING WRONG WHATEVER WITH "BELIEVING" THERE ARE NO GODS.

But a "belief" in this context is NOTHING MORE THAN A BLIND GUESS ABOUT THE UNKNOWN.

If you have a problem with that...tell me what you problem is.

Who's "demanding" respect?

Oh, you are one of those people who have never heard people saying, "We must all respect other's 'beliefs?'"

What can I say? Some people just live outside this world, I guess.

I appreciate you sharing that guess of your with me.

For most of his life, Hawking described himself as an agnostic.

Personally, I see "agnostic" as the default position of science. If Hawking had a reason for claiming there are no gods...he did not share it. The words I've read that he wrote on the subject still sound agnostic to me. Lots of hedge room.

Read them. I think you may agree.

I've asked you before but never got a logical answer. Again, why do you care what others believe? What effect does it have on your life?
