Nobody needs you to be โ€œafraid.โ€ They expect a functioning country to know who is living and working here and under what identity. If someone uses your Social Security number, contaminates your earnings record, creates tax problems, or leaves you untangling your retirement benefits years later, suddenly that โ€œimaginary lineโ€ and โ€œpaperworkโ€ become remarkably real.

What we need is for you to have both a brain and some compassion for the law-abiding person who gets stuck paying the price for someone elseโ€™s fraud. Compassion that extends only to the person breaking the rules, while dismissing the innocent person harmed by it, isnโ€™t compassion. Itโ€™s moral vanity.

Sorry, wrong office.

You need to go here....

identity theft is imaginary?

Excellent rebuttal. I listed specific, documented harms to actual law-abiding people, and you responded with a picture saying the problems are imaginary. Apparently the Bureau of Having an Adult Conversation was closed today

You listed nothing.

Not one source to back up your imaginary claims.

Try harder or STFU.

you need a citation that identify theft creates victims

just one? or a few hundred? maybe a few thousand?

name your terms. what level of evidence will make a shit stain such as yourself admit you are wrong here?

The derper is back.

Show some sources to back up your claim/insinuation that illegal immigrants are responsible for a substantial or significant amount of the crimes you're accusing them of, to the point that it justifies spending billions of taxpayer dollars to round them up and deport them, even if they've not committed any other offense besides being here without documentation.

So let's review there are a group of maggots who will lie and claim that illegal immigrants commit a lot of crime. And then there's people like Terry who claims he doesn't care if illegal immigrants are committing crimes or not he just wants them out of the country because they're either brown black or religion he doesn't approve of.

I care that someone is illegally in the country. "Undocumented" is just a euphemism for "illegal" or "criminal," and you don't care. I suppose you are one of those that thinks we should end use of police and prisons too.

If you are so unafraid, if "someone crossed an imaginary line" would you feel the same way if some thug broke into your home and was no squatting in your house? After all, they only crossed an "imaginary line." If you were to ask them to leave, they just tell you, "Property lines are imaginary so what difference does the paperwork make?"

There is no comprehensive, systematic national dataset that records immigration status for arrests and convictions across the United States in the way required for a definitive, high-confidence nationwide crime rate comparison.

Most states do not track or publish that variable. That is a real and significant gap.

Because of that gap, no one can claim a fully proven, complete national answer with the precision of a census. The available evidence (Texas administrative records plus national demographic estimates) is incomplete for the country as a whole and therefore cannot settle the question with certainty.

On that specific standard โ€” definitive nationwide proof โ€” the honest statement is that we do not have it.

I sure hope so. Who will be likely to be victimized by people freed from prison with no police to call?

He's not going to answer the question, is he?

Semantics.

I say tomato you say tomahto.

You suppose wrong.

Or rather wrongly.

The walls of my house are not imaginary lines.

To cross them, one has to break in by defeating dead bolt locks on solid wood doors or locked windows.
After all, they only crossed an "imaginary line." If you were to ask them to leave, they just tell you, "Property lines are imaginary so what difference does the paperwork make?"
I have fences. Like the walls of my house, they are not imaginary.

And there is no paperwork that would make it legal for anyone to live in my yard anyway.
