They bought the gun for HIM

So when a black gang banging 16 year old in Chicago kills someone ...the parents can be charged

Parents? A huge percentage of the time there is a birthing person better known as a baby momma, and the sperm donor that is nowhere to be found except for a very brief monthly appearance to help collect the welfare check as he makes his rounds to his other baby momma's.
For that, we can all thank Lyndon Johnson who helped destroy the family unit.

LOL Now say "I'm not a racist".

I’ve bought a couple of guns for my boy for Christmas. Parents buy their kids guns and teach them to shoot all the time. What doesn’t happen all the time is what this kid did. It’s on the parents … but not because they bought their kid a gun.

yes it is. He was not wrapped very tightly and posted about shooting people. In the final analysis, they are kids. Now they are kids with weapons. We do not sell guns to kids because we do not think they are mature enough to handle a gun.
We always read people saying the gun is not a problem. This kid's parents could have said the same thing a week ago. Now they cannot. Everyone is a responsible gun owner until they are not. People die for this.

I shot my first gun when I was six. Was on an NRA father-son competition when I was 11 and had my first gun, a Christmas gift, at 12. It was a Browning BL-22 rifle for hunting squirrels and plinking. It stayed locked in my dad's gun cabinet unless I was cleaning it or we were going shooting.

At 17, east of Denver, my HS friend and I would would down the streets of our housing development without Ithaca Mod. 37 featherlite 12 gauge pumps to go dove hunting about a half mile from the development onto the prairie. Nowadays we'd have been taken down by police less than a hundred yards from our houses.

It's a different world today. Part of it, IMO, is that kids are forced to "succeed" right out of the box. They don't get a chance to grow up first. That's why people like Britney Spears, Lindsey Lohan and Michael Jackson end up losing control of themselves; too much too soon.

Just reported the mom said so
Yep. There was some question about that when I made the same claim.

More important is that the mother texted the kid about 'not getting caught' buying the ammo and plotting the murders.

the Sandy Hook shooter who killed 20 children and 6 adults got his AR from his mom..........fuck these idiots
I believe he took it from the gun safe. A little different, but not much. In both cases, a child with known psych issues had parents who didn't secure guns.

they used to go after the parents when their kids skipped school

jail these fuckin morons and maybe they'll start noticing their son's arsenal in the closet
These fools are on the run. Now they'll be arrested and jailed while they await trial.

What my fellow libs don't seem to understand is that to sane people, guns are like golf clubs, fishing tackle, skis, tennis rackets, and such--sporting goods.

In fairness, the percentage of sane people here in America is not terribly impressive.
It's pretty hard to kill mass numbers with a tennis racket.

No sane person would give a gun to a troubled adolescent.

Of course, these parents have their own psych issues, so probably denied that their kid was troubled.

Reported in the Washington Post:

Teacher saw him researching ammunition on the Internet. She called his parents to inform them. When the kid got home his mother said to him, "Lol, I'm not mad at you, but you have to learn not to get caught."

Anyone wonder who these creeps voted for?
Her letter in support of trump, complete with a desire to have him grab her by the pussy, was already made public.

The same person I voted for, likely, but that doesn’t make us all “creeps” or “nuts … or killers. This post says so much about what is wrong in this country.
Of course you voted for him.

I would hope that you are capable of criticizing almost every aspect of his tenure, or you are a perfect illustration of what is wrong with this country.

He didn't have an arsenal and it was a 9mm pistol, which was legal to give, but illegal to let him use unsupervised. Obviously shooting up a school and murdering four people was completely out of line.

The parent's are culpable here. Just how much remains to be seen but I'm thinking it 15 years.
Is concealed carry legal for a child in Michigan?

Wash, rinse, repeat.

Wanna bet he hires Rittenhouse's lawyers?

Wanna bet trumpkins donate millions to his defense?

Totally different circumstances.

They are robbed of their childhoods.
