Man shot in incident involving Border Patrol in Arizona

Well, well, well... Creepy Tits gets it dead flat wrong again!

Seems the guy shot was Patrick Gary Schlegel, 34, who is a US citizen. He has a criminal history of human smuggling, attacking Border Patrol agents, and a currently active federal felony arrest warrant (besides the new charges he got from this incident).

Agents spotted his vehicle on Arivaca Road about at mile post 16 and initiated a felony stop. The vehicle was carrying 15 illegals under a tarp in the bed of the truck. Schlegel upon being spotted, stopped the truck and started SHOOTING at a CBP S-60 helicopter surveilling the vehicle. The illegals scattered and were later arrested.

Border Patrol agents returned fire wounding Schlegel who is now in a Tucson hospital with pending federal charges including assault on a federal officer, human smuggling, and felon in possession of a firearm.
