What it amounts to is this: yes, a steel barrier can be defeated.

Efficiently? No.

Results: illegal immigration is cut down to bare minimum.

Cost effective? No brainer.

put cameras/drones along the wall/barrier. Dispatch border control when the see it being breached.

The response time is what's going to be prohibitive; because a lot of these areas aren't immediately accessible.
There would have to be a LOT more Border Agents and places to house them.

I would imagine more border agents would be part of the deal..but ya.

So a few get thru until someone shows up - they are not literally pouring across -walking well worn trails.

But that premise only holds true, if they are able to collect them; because as more and more wall goes up, they will have to move to areas that haven't been used before.

How many is this "few" that you find acceptable?
