ThnX GOP-Post-Scalia Court Has Liberals Winning, Conservatives Venting

That is what the founders wanted-LIFE..

I am sure you can think of a few reasons why such visionary, intelligent & insightful men would have chosen life, as opposed to some set time limit... Yes??

They wanted no such thing if they were among the Jeffersonian republicans. They're the guys who gave America the bill of rights and exclusively the ninth and tenth amendments which are the anti amendments against judicial legislation of laws.

??Not sure what you point is.. You think they agreed on everything?? There are those for & against on most issues, THE FACT REMAINS THEY ARE THERE FOR LIFE..

Your 8 years then 10 year plans could be great or really suck for someone like you if you got an obama for 8 years & then hillary for another 8--THINK ABOUT IT!!!

The premise of this thread is nonsense. Non-binding tied votes mean that putting in Obama's super-liberal guy would change things? Then the votes would be binding and set precedent. It is far better this, than a "moving target Constitution because I want it that way" liberal Court setting binding precedent.

Roberts court has been outstanding -with or without a tie.. the decisions follow stare decisis where needed,
or are overturned by text. where needed. I've found myself in agreement most of the time ( except for agency purviews)-
but I don't expect those to be curbed. That's what Congress should do.

Roberts gave you Obama care penalty phase as perfectly legal. Another law legislated by the court pulled out of the air.

Roberts was supposed to be a conservative judge and a strict constitutionalist. This is why the court is too powerful, he's an example.

So you don't mind if they are biased, as long as it is biased in your favor..
