Time for more "prayers and condolences"

I'll ask again: If people circumvent online website policies and existing laws, please explain what policy/law you'd like to see implemented that would prevent prohibited sales - without violating the Constitution.

I can't, done it umpteen times, even right above for "truthie," read before you jump in to a thread

http://www.wowt.com/content/news/School-shooting-at-Indiana-middle-school-483697761.html

Becoming as American as apple pie

Said before, there are three elements in any shooting; the shooter, the weapon, and the target

Highly improbable that we will ever be able to do anything about identifying the shooter before it happens, nor do we have any idea what the next target will be, but we do have some control over the weapon utilized, it is all about access, and in the United States we have too easy access to too many guns

And you better save some of those "prayers and condolences" because it sure as hell is going to happen again

Let the gun nutters begin the defense of the shooter and begin to blame the victims. Yawn.

Oh I see they already have. Not surprised as most of them are tweakers.

That's obvious.

Treat all guns as we do vehicles, they have to be registered and in time reregistered, you need a liscense involving training and a test, liability insurance is required on each weapon, etc.. Create common sense hurdles to weapons that create responsibilitye

Are you pretending that criminals won't find ways to circumvent this 'solution', too?

How do you propose to enforce it?

Explain how "we do have some control over the weapon utilized", and cite where you got the idea that there's "easy access" to guns.

Federal law does not require private sellers to perform background checks on buyers, record the sale, or ask for identification. Approximately 30 states do not require background checks for private sales of firearms.

Show me a gun for sale RIGHT NOW on craigslist

Are you daft, "Craigslist for weapons," third time, and you want a gun, go to Armslist.com, and before you do the predictable, no one follows up on if anyone follows the applicable laws, it is strictly the buyers responsibility

Amazing how many time 'truthie" is just flat out wrong

"These classified advertisements for semi-automatic weapons were listed this week on Armslist, a website where anyone can advertise a firearm they'd like to sell, and anyone can contact a seller with an offer to buy. The site is legal. But there's no way to know whether buyers and sellers who meet through Armslist are following federal, state or local background check rules."

https://www.npr.org/sections/alltec...t-a-background-check-can-be-just-a-click-away

Once again; your false claim was "craigslist" and that it was "easy". If you want to claim Armslist is an easy place to buy guns, that too is a flat out lie.

Here's the agreement one must first consent to:

In addition, if you are not 21, you cannot buy a firearm. If you buy an arm through this listing, you cannot ship without going through a registered FFL dealer and certifying the purpose is legal.

Your claims, as indicated before, are FALSE and using an NPR puff piece to support your FALSE claims makes you look dumb and naive.

Given the number of autos in America "Law biding citizens" don't seem to have much of a problem obtaining vehicles now do they and they would be the same requirements

Again; your position would not prevent one single crime just as automobile laws don't prevent accidents and death.

And you always know "truthie" is stuck when he starts with the personal crapola, like the towel hitting the canvas

What we know is that when you are caught in your lies, you will always whine like a petulant little child and cry foul. :rofl2:

Now try to grow a brain.

Screed alert^ Used for chaff.

Just like "truthie," your wrong

From your source:

"according to a study conducted by the City of New York, the results of which were announced Thursday by Mayor Michael Bloomberg and Police Commissioner Ray Kelly. Private investigators from the firm Kroll reviewed a number of online gun venues and responded to listings they found there, posing as buyers who openly admitted to being unable to pass a background check. When they searched Craigslist, they found the site is notably lax in enforcing its policy of prohibiting gun listings. In fact, nationwide, they found nearly 1,800 active listings from the previous 100 days."

A study done in 2011 that we don't know any background on, that was conducted at the behest of a notorious gun-grabber with "buyers" plainly seeking to entrap?

Any other "proof" you'd like to present?

BTW,

That's obvious.

Are you pretending that criminals won't find ways to circumvent this 'solution', too?

How do you propose to enforce it?

Sure they do, and will, but it isn't the street thug who is committing all these school shootings nor mass shootings, and with such as liability insurance and reregisteration you won't find as many stolen weapons out there

And you enforce it the same way we enforce motor vehicle laws

Just the ones that prove effective rather than the NRA framed amoebic ones in existence

That's not an answer; it isn't even coherent. I will ask again, what laws would have prevented these two recent incidents involving teens?

You still haven't explained how more rules and laws would keep the criminals who ignore current rules and laws from getting guns illegally.

Nor have you explained how you'd enforce such laws without violating the Constitution.

Any law abiding citizen would surely agree to your proposal.
