Tomorrow, thoughts on who will win.

I have already made my predictions - the Iran war is going to prove to be quite costly from a political angle

I was just checking to see how ignorant you were about which states have Senate races. You confirmed my suspicions.

CA won't be counting any ballots for Senate until 2028.
You frigging idiot. WTF are you talking about. Nobody mentioned a senate race.

CA can't even count ballots for mayor.

Its not a matter of confidence you dimwitted piece of shit its history that the incumbent party losses seats. Are you really this retarded? oh wait
I am not talking about losing seats, that is a sure thing... You are obfuscating.

CA will not be counting ballots for US Senator this year. Do you need a simple civics lesson?

The Senate is made up of 100 members.
Each Senator is elected for 6 years.
Every 2 years, only 33 or 34 are up for reelection.

Control of the Senate for the next two year will be decided two years before CA counts a single vote for US Senate.

My error.

With the close race in TX if it does go to the DEM then MAGAS will have to start asking themselves what is wrong.
And maybe wake up and see Trump is the problem.

The polls are strong for Democrats and media is expecting and suggesting a larger number of Democrats will turn out in big numbers, but they could be wrong by a few percentages and the close races are within that margin. That is the difference between a Senate majority or no for either party.

In other words the senate is within the MOE in enough cases that it is not clear.

I do think it will be one or the other... meaning that if the pollsters are wrong they will be all around wrong and one party or the other will win all of the close ones. A big night for the Republicans (likely) will let them keep the Senate. A big night for the Democrats will have them with a close minority.

My read, the Democrats chances of taking the Senate are overrated. If I were the type to bet I like the odds for the Republicans in the Senate.
Democrats will either have a good night, good night being winning the House with say nine seat majority, or, a great night in capturing the senate, I’d bank on the good night, and hope for the great night

Democrats have to turn four or five Senate seats in States Trump won easily in 2024, ain’t seeing it happening.
