Trump and Mexico’s next president can build the wall -- Together

When Mexican President-elect Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador takes office Dec. 1, President Trump will have the opportunity to improve relations with our southern neighbor and build his long-promised border security wall. He should take advantage of it.

President Trump should pull a “Nixon goes to China” by offering Lopez Obrador a generous trade: Lopez Obrador gets millions of dollars in new foreign aid – in return for Mexico helping to police our common border and helping to build President Trump’s border security wall.

Mexico can't even police their own interior. How are they going to help us monitor their northern border?
