He also implemented the 55mph nationwide speed limit over threat of removing federal highway fund from States that did not comply. This speed wasted a lot of energy, since vehicles at that speed are transitioning from ground drag to aerodynamic drag. It also did nothing about the price controls he tried.

Obama, a DEMOCRAT, caused an economic depression that lasted nine years, and later, using the Biden puppet, caused another one that lasted 6 years. Combined, the dollar lost 2/3rds of its value and the national debt quadrupled.

Despite all that, there are nations financially far worse off than the United States, namely China, Canada, Japan, Greece, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Belgium, and France.

Yet, past presidents have issued similar nationwide executive orders--ones where they demanded state compliance with the threat of withholding federal funds. This time it's on how voting can occur (no mass mail-in balloting) rather than gun control, the speed limit, or something else.
