Trump approval rating slips to record low of 34 percent in YouGov/Economist poll

President Trump’s job approval rating fell to a record low of 34 percent in this week’s YouGov/The Economist poll, marking the lowest level recorded in the survey across both of his terms in office.

The rating is also lower than any approval rating former President Biden received during his presidency, according to YouGov. The Economist noted Trump “this week became the most unpopular president since our poll started in 2009.”

Poll shows Trump approval drops sharply across all states

Florida net approval rating shift from +9 to -12
Florida's net approval rating for Donald Trump has dropped from a positive nine points to a negative twelve points. This represents a significant decline in support within a key battleground state.

Advisers have cautioned that an emphasis on retribution over economic issues could further alienate voters in competitive states. This strategic focus may exacerbate existing declines in approval ratings.

Map shows states where Trump's approval rating has crashed most

Key Points

  • Net approval has declined in every state since Trump returned to office in January 2025.
  • The steepest drops are in Republican-leaning states, not just Democratic strongholds.
  • Several battlegrounds, including Florida, Ohio and Nevada, have shifted into net disapproval.
  • Early pro‑Trump advantages have narrowed sharply, even in his strongest states.
  • The political map still resembles the partisan divide, but with weaker margins across the board

Ray McGovern said again on Dialog Works today that the degree to which Trump does not care what the people think or about the midterms has become alarming.

I Agree.

There is a theory that the Zionist Bastard oligarchs promised Trump that if he signed off on attacking Iran that they would make sure that the vote turns out the way Trump wants it...Massie was a test run of this promise.

All that’s left are the kookiest of kooks. @Teflon Don @Matt Dillon

In spite of the fact that Whitney Webb might be right that Trump has been a Rothchilds asset from when they pulled his chestnuts out of the fire in the early 90's when he was just days from humiliation after everyone else had refused.......this is not the same man I once supported.

Trump has realized he will not win a free and fair election this midterms so he is All-In on rigging and cheating to win it. That has freed him to not care about voters feel about him. Either the rigging and theft succeeds or it does not.

The elections have been rigged for years, this is about a promise to Trump that they will be rigged the way he wants this time, by the people who do the rigging.

BTW: I heard it I think from Max Blumenthal....reported as "A rumor about town (DC)".

The math ain't mathing.....since taking office, we've had how many "No Kings" rallies? How many regretful Trump voters were trending all over social media after DOGE, ICE and now the war? AND YET, EVERY SINGLE CANDIDATE TRUMP ENDORCED, WON THEIR PRIMARIES???? ALL VOWING TO NOT ONLY BACK TRUMP BUT TO HELP CONTINUE THIS MADNESS??? Like I said, the math ain't mathing

First of all they were Republican Primaries , so the MAGAS came out and others stayed home. people are reading way too much into this .

Trump has had oversized power because MAGGOTS will show up at primaries. That gives him the power to primary normally entrenched politicians. It is a special power since politics is the business of being re-elected. They will throw their values away to keep their position. Trump ruthlessly used that power to control the Republican party,
