Trump causes U.S. weapons stockpiles to become dangerously depleted

a woman in a green sweater is crying

Bite a dead mules cock you anti constitutional traitor to America

I oppose the war, but this framing is mostly partisan point-scoring.

If a regional conflict with Iran can immediately leave the United States dangerously exposed elsewhere, then the fundamental failure occurred before the first missile was fired. We entered the war with stockpiles and production capacity that were plainly inadequate for the military commitments Washington had already assumed.

And that is what I fault: the commitment itself—the bipartisan assumption that the United States can indefinitely police multiple regions, arm allies, deter every adversary, and still maintain ample reserves. I do not suddenly discover the danger of imperial overextension only when Republicans are directing it.

QP! : In this installment of 'Magats are funny' and by funny i mean stupid, we have the below claim that 'Biden left the munitions depleted', when there is a need to blame someone not named Trump but then an instant pivot to 'they are not depleted and we have a lot' when the need is to defend Trump going to war with a depleted cupboard.

Can't make this level of magat stupidity up ...:rofl2:

Trump Official Crashes Out When Asked About Depleted U.S. Munitions

Joe Biden depleted our munitions. But also, our munitions are not depleted.

Mike Waltz, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, blamed the Biden administration Sunday for depleting the country’s weapons stockpile—but then denied reporting that the country’s weapons stockpile was depleted.
.
President Trump's claim that 'when i came in, we had no ammunition'

Trump argued that when he returned to office:

  • The U.S. had been left with severely depleted weapons inventories.
  • The Biden administration had sent so many weapons to Ukraine and Israel that the United States was left with "no munitions" or essentially an empty cupboard.
