As you say " a lot" isn't saying enough . Yep it is one hell of a fucked up trade war we the US consumers are paying for.
Trump and the MAGAS are so stupid they really thought the exporting countries would be paying all the tariffs and that wasn't going to happen , YES they did pay some of them up to a point but when it starts to effect their bottom line they start passing the costs on to the US consumer.
And as we have seen prices HAVE gone UP and UP. ever since Trump started this shit.

BUT the decline of American standard of living has been going on for several years now, it did not start with Trump.

I have talked extensively about this, and how it will get much worse.

Not according to your chart. Your chart shows supply minus demand to be a positive number. So there is more supply than there is demand, and supply has risen faster than demand. Your chart says the exact opposite of what you claim.
