That's the FEC, not the State or city. Different jurisdictions. Had Trump been convicted by the FEC, then double jeopardy may come into play. It's up to the lawyers to figure out.

I think the FEC only deals with civil enforcement of election laws with civil penalties. Federal prosecutors would bring criminal charges. Double jeopardy is not usually a problem with different jurisdictions.

Understood about the Federal level. Notice that the Feds seem to be dragging their feet on prosecuting traitors. IMO, it's because Congress holds the purse strings to all of their agencies and they don't want to piss off the nutjobs on the Right side of the aisle since Congress is split nearly 50/50.
