PA. is typically Dem, primarily because of our largest cities. We have a Dem governor and he's opening up our state by regions. He's even allowing bars to sell "to-go" mixed drinks (?).
But seriously, he's opening things up and allowing larger gatherings and we are considered a blue state. I'll bet there are other blue states doing the same thing to offset your "example."

Good luck bringing in new voters for this fiasco. The prospect is essentially insurmountable.

He is losing the confidence of the public.

Even his supporters are embarrassed and can't imagine why anyone who wasn't already a supporter would become one.

His support has the deplorable contingent, which amounts to perhaps 30%, the evangelical contingent, perhaps another 8-10%, and then there is the greedy contingent, a small number of power junkies who simply don't care about others and are totally in it for the profits.

I don't see any of those groups expanding, nor any other new groups coming in.

It is so ironic that if he had exhibited excellent leadership and really earned high marks for confronting the crisis head-on from day one, he would have cemented his victory.

If he had made testing the absolute priority it demanded to be, early on, we could have done a far superior job of containing the virus, and we would never have had to shut down the economy!

They were right in the crosshairs of this pandemic.

They never had to shut down their economy!

Taiwan only has 7 deaths TOTAL!

If DT was a great leader and we had a success story like that? America would be winning, and he would have cemented his 2020 victory.

I have never noticed the polls being wrong for a long time- even for a short time. And there is not a news source in the business lying about polls, as there is nothing to be gained from doing that.

The 2016 race was a very close election, but it still played out with the normal margins of errors for polls.

I agree w/ Phantasmal - he could still win the electoral. The GOP probably won't win the popular again unless they shift significantly.

But Trump is a winner, if nothing else. I don't really mean that in the positive connotation of that word - just that he finds a way to win, no matter what he does. There is a ton that could happen between now & November, and COVID changes the whole paradigm.

If he succeeds in his campaign to delegitimize mail-in votes, that's certainly a way he could influence things. I'm sure he has other tricks up his sleeve. He has such a singular vision when it comes to the concept of winning - Biden can't really compete w/ that.
