Trump is weakening the US military's global readiness to confront threats

Lefties pretending they want the US military to confront global threats = risible.

Especially @Cypress, the known sex pest.

Has Iran experienced a regime change, no.
Yes it has. Indeed, it has experienced it several times, recently.
Has Iran ended its nuclear potential, no.
Correct. The United States essentially did.
Has Iran stopped firing missiles into its neighbors and US military facilities, no.
Pretty much. They don't have much left.
Has Iran ended its influence on oil passing thru the Strats, no.
Correct. The United States ended Iran's influence on oil passing through the Strait.
Has Iran’s proxy ceased their activities, no.
What proxy, anchovies?
Trump has fucked his war from the jump
Iran has already lost, anchovies.

The greatest threat to the United States is its own willingness to throw itself into a massive war.
And I'm not talking about Iran.

Military operations in Iran have, of course, depleted U.S. ammunition stockpiles. If a war breaks out in East Asia at this point, the U.S. will be short on ammunition. But blaming Trump for this is a bit unfair. Because before deciding to take military action against Iran, Trump clearly knew that no war would break out in East Asia.

Come on, everyone knows that for at least the next three years, or at least during Trump's term, there won't be any war in East Asia. There are many reasons for that. But it's a fact. That's also why Trump can visit China with such confidence. He won't have to face that tricky situation where it's like, "I just visited China, and then war breaks out—now what do I do?"

Military leaders warn Hegseth against extending Iran war operations

Several U.S. military leaders have advised Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth that prolonging large-scale operations against Iran is unsustainable and risks weakening their ability to confront threats elsewhere, including the U.S. homeland, according to people familiar with a recent assessment prepared for the Pentagon chief.

The warnings - detailed for Hegseth by the heads of the Army, Navy and Air Force and the four-star commanders overseeing U.S. operations throughout Europe, Asia and Latin America - appear in the Aug. 14 edition of the Secretary of Defense Orders Book (SDOB), these people said. They described the assessment to The Washington Post on the condition of anonymity because the document is classified

You give that sucker too many breaks. Why do you think he tried to rename the Department of Defense to the "War Department"? How many verbal and actual fights has he picked since January of last year? Venezuela, Greeland, Canada, Iran, Gaza are just a few.

Curious about your reasoning on this?

I do think SINCE Trump's picking fights all over the world, especially with allies, China will not take any military action as they are massively benefitting as being seen as the more stable and trustworthy 'world power' right now, as the US diminishes. And i believe China, more than most studies leaders of the past and the wisdoms they can gain from them such as :

- Napoleon was credited with the expression "Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake"
-Sun Tzu said "To secure ourselves against defeat lies in our own hands, but the opportunity of defeating the enemy is provided by the enemy himself." and "you cannot force a victory; you must maintain perfect discipline and wait patiently for your opponent to make a critical blunder that leaves them vulnerable."

So ya, i think if China was even thinking of any military in the area they will defer it so as not to rally any allies back to the US and Trump and allow the Mad King to continue to destabilize allies and diminish America.

There is no shortage of ammunition.
What war?
