So, only a great fool would be outraged every time a president acts without Congress. But, as you know, ordering our military to build a border wall, because Congress refuses to appropriate funds for one, is neither consistent with precedent nor respectful of checks and balances.

I'm fine with the wall, if Trump can make good on his promise. Sure, it'll be worthless, but it'll create some jobs while it's being built. In the same sense, if Mexico offered to pay American workers to go out into the middle of the desert and dig some holes, and then fill them in when they're done, I'd take them up on the offer. But until Trump figures out how to make good on the promise, Congress should tell him they're not going to pick the taxpayer's pocket to build that pointless monument to xenophobia.

Try capitalizing the first words in your sentences. It makes them look a bit more intelligent.

Pelosi and Schumer (and the Democrats) are willing to put up money for border security. They just are not willing to put up money for a silly wall...that does almost nothing for border security. The reason Trump keeps going on about the wall is that it is part of a promise he made to construct a wall with Mexico paying for it.

If he really wanted the wall...he would be working on the Mexicans to allocate the funds...rather than asking the congress to fund it.
