Something Democrats have going for them in this election is a sense widely shared, I believe, that under Trump the country has become uglier. Just....uglier. Mimicking him as in the above joke post doesn't help.

You're right. They showed that comment -- and the cheering crowd's reaction -- on the national news last night. Horrific. Not just that he said that publicly, but that they CHEERED. WTF. Since when was the deaths of millions of our fellow citizens something to hope and cheer for?
