Trump is Trump- but, the trouble Donnie got himself into by over-committing himself to his constituents with a shiny-new wall could be so easy to overcome by just admitting that he has changed his mind and now just wants to "Finish the Barrier Fence in all areas where it is determined to be the most beneficial by the experts- Border Security consultants! And by asking for money to shore up all areas of border security that Republicans and Democrats are already both asking for.

Don't try to do what you can't do- DO what you can!

Like you, their first [only lol?] order of business is to make Trump look as bad as possible; moreover, that is more important than border security, opening the government—or even the Dreamers, apparently.

I'm (Jack) for a Wall where a Wall is needed. I'm (Jack) against ANY and All immigration. I don't think the US needs MORE people. My view is that Automation, Robotics, and Artificial Intelligence will be replacing MORE and MORE Humans. So ... IMPORTING more Humans into a Country that doesn't need them IS A BAD IDEA.

Did any of that migrate through the thick boney structure that encapsulates what you would call your brain? (I'm not hopeful)

Trump will say what he wants...and Pelosi and Schumer will say what they want.

And then the better bargainer will get the lion's share of the negotiation.

I think American voters are well awake to what the Democrats and Republicans want, Darth.

In any case, Trump will lay out what he wants...and Speaker Pelosi and Minority Leader Schumer will lay out what they want...

...and they will negotiate.

I am confident the better negotiators will end up with the lion's share of the negotiation.

I am happy with that prospect.

Pelosi and Shumer already have the upper hand in these negotiations. Trump has already ceded negotiating power to them.

Trump has to be one of the worst negotiators ever.

Obviously he is of the Babe Ruth school of negotiations.

The Babe was offered a 1/4th percent increase in salary once...and held out for 1/5th.

Or should Chuck and Nancy go all out for the Dreamers and fully fund the wall in exchange for Dreamer citizenship?
