The left doesn't want the word illegal to preface the word immigrant. They want to blur the meaning of illegal and legal.

"Children of immigrants" is a prime example. It infers that all immigrants are "legal."

Most Americans are the children of LEGAL immigrants.

The illegal immigrants (non-citizens) need to be deported. Why, because it's our country...not theirs and it's the law.
