Trump wants to do another unconstitutional act.
The Constitution requires all free persons to be counted excluding Indians not taxed.
Why do you hate the Constitution so much that you support him?
 
How stupid are Trumpys? The census determines where schools are built or removed. Police departments and fire departments use the census to determine how personell and equipment. Department stores use it to determine if they need more or fewer stores in specific locations. They are used to determine if new roads are needed. Cities, states and the country use the census for a myriad of reasons, including sewer systems, electricity, and much more.

Yet, service members (in some cases) and American citizens overseas are not counted. POW's held in the US were counted but not enumerated. That is, they weren't counted towards congressional seats.

So, there's plenty of precedent to either not count illegals at all, or count them but not use their numbers for apportionment of congressional seats.

As someone said, the census info is the basis for many businesses and infrastructure projects.

Dropping the illegal aliens from the count mean some areas will be severely under funded.

I doubt if very many of them return the census forms.

What's the point of dropping them? They are here, they contribute to local economies and also (if they send their kids to school) contribute to the school districts' burden to provide education. Ditto for other local entities that serve the public, legal or not -- hospitals and clinics that get federal funds, police and fire and EMT services, parks, roads/bridges used by all. It sounds like the Toadstool wants to put the burden of outting "illegals" on local communities rather than where it belongs -- on his ICE goons.

Doesn't matter. If they are not in jail or prison, they are considered "free" and therefor to be counted in the census under the Constitution. Remember that document? You MAGATs scream bloody murder when a (D) POTUS proposes to allegedly violates it, yet turn a blind eye when your #CorruptCaligula actually DOES.

But don't worry, RB. The vast majority of undocumented persons do not return the census forms; they live in the shadows and don't want to be fingered by Trump's ICE goons. So they don't register to vote, they don't apply for social security cards, they don't get "welfare" or food stamps
