President Donald Trump's approval rating has fallen to a new low since returning to the White House, according to a new Economist/YouGov poll released Tuesday, with just 34% of Americans approving of his job performance.

The survey found 62% of Americans disapprove of Trump's performance, up two percentage points from the previous week, while 63% say the country is headed in the wrong direction. Despite Trump's declining numbers, Democrats have gained little ground politically, leading Republicans by just four points on a generic congressional ballot.

The Economist/YouGov poll, conducted July 25-27 among 1,559 adults, marks Trump's lowest approval rating in YouGov tracking since he returned to office. The poll's margin of error was plus or minus 3.3 percentage points.

In an emailed statement to USA TODAY, White House spokesman Davis Ingle dismissed Tuesday's poll, saying "the ultimate poll was November 5th 2024 when nearly 80 million Americans overwhelmingly elected President Trump."

"The President has already made historic progress not only in America but around the world, and this is just the beginning as his agenda continues taking effect," Ingle said.

One reason is that most MAGATs wear blinders issued by Faux "News" and other Reichwing media. They aren't told the entire truth, Those who may see reality on social media or from family/friends have been instructed to think of it as "fake news" and to be ignored. Trump might be slipping in the polls. But still a third of us think the #FatFascistFelon is swell.

CNN Poll: Voters favor Democrats by an 8-point margin heading into the midterms​

Democrats lead Republicans on the generic ballot by 8 points among registered voters, according to a new CNN poll conducted by SSRS. Democrats also continue to hold a significant advantage in voter enthusiasm and have a 20-point advantage in preferences among those who say they are extremely motivated to vote. More Americans say the country would be better off (38%) than worse off (33%) if Democrats were to take control of Congress this November, with 29% saying it wouldn’t make a difference.

And with the cost of food and other things people need everyday still going up and up it is starting to hurt some of the low income MAGAS and they want to know what happened to Trump cutting those prices right away.
Yes when it hits them in the pocket book hard enough they will change their mind about Trump and how he is handling our economy.

Trump's a multi billionaire because of his pre presidential business/building and entrepreneurial skills. He doesn't even take the presidential salary, as he gives it all to charities.

Trump makes more money on his weekend golf junkets to Mara Lago than he does with his Presidential salary, you didn’t really think he gave the Secret Service nor his entourage reduced rates for housing and meals did you? He even charges the SS to rent the gold carts they need to protect him on tbd golf course
