No, it is a fact. Polls are no less accurate now than they were ten or twenty years ago. Which is to say, pretty damn accurate. Overall, the mainstream polling groups accurately predict the results of about 80% of the races. I'd take those odds in Vegas. As for your claim that you understood, your post belies your claim.
