Fireworks cannot be shot while a thunderstorm is in progress. Indeed, it's dangerous to be out setting them up.Vitali managed it though. It helped that much of the setup too place before the storm rolled in.
Despite the storm and late start, it was a fantastic show that did establish a new Guiness world, confirmed by Guiness.
Some 150,000 braved the storm and delays to see one hell of a show.
