And as far as "wimpy whining liberals", perhaps you're not aware of the election outcome from Alabama.
The Republican, the twice ejected Judge Roy Moore is now thrice rejected, as it was the Democrat, the ostensible "liberal" that has taken the slot.

Ironic that such a blindly partisan Republican would assign the adjectives "wimpy whining liberals" to the winners.

I've never questioned the legitimacy of this election, DESPITE the obvious, that it was not predicted by mainstream polling agencies. However, as it seems to interest you:

- it's still not clear to me why SCOTUS intruded w/ Bush v. Gore, when there was still plenty of time to complete the Florida recount.

- And I deeply lament what has happened to the Republican party since Goldwater. It alarms me that in the first two decades of the new millennium, though multiple Republicans held the office, none of them gained the office by winning the popular vote.
That's doubly revealing.
