The fact that the Trump DOJ tried to put innocent Americans in prison on fabricated charges of vandalism to the reflecting pool is powerful evidence this DOJ is no longer a legitimate law enforcement agency. It's a KGB-esque political arm of the Trump White House.
 
The alt right has told us what this is, the "accusation is the punishment." They will never prove any of their crazy accusations, but they will waste everyone's time on the accusations.

Lots. It's not just about revenge, IMO. It's also about silencing any future whistleblowers or those brave enough to consider speaking out about the sins and crimes of the Corruption-in-Chief.
