Trump did what no other President has ever done in history. He endorsed a candidate to unseat an incumbent. He did so as one of over 600 endorsements during his presidencies with an overall record of 83% wins.
In this last primary season he's 98%, 47 out of 48 so far. Clinton, Bush, Obama endorsed exactly 0 while president. Biden made 7 and lost 3, never unseated an incumbent. Obama since 2016 is 62% of 630 to give you a little context. Trump built the most political capital in history from the voters because polling can be rigged quite easily. He just won 98% of his endorsements while supposedly having the lowest polling ever.
Now do you think the next time he needs a pain-in-the-ass Republican to pass his agenda they will care more about the proven power of his endorsement or a CNN poll?

But the idea that the democrats will trounce the Americans in a "blue wave" is gone.
