Trump's new 'Patriot Party' signals the death knell of the GOP, permanent Dem rule

There's truth in that but there's also limits on what they control and where they can lead people.

If a two-party system is so fucking important to you, why are you wasting all your time trying to get Democrats when you should be using your time to prevent the fracture of the Republican Party?

Why is this the Democrats' problem and not the Republicans?

They're the ones who are threatening to split the GOP, which would give Democrats one-party control.

You're absolutely silent on that...well not exactly, your solution is for Democrats to compromise instead of the Republicans.

You're not helping and your ideas are terrible.

If you truly wanted a two-party system, then you would be pressing Republicans to impeach Trump and prevent him from forming a political party that will only harm the GOP and give Democrats a massive electoral advantage.

But you don't think in those terms because you are limited in your critical thinking abilities.

For you, your image is more important than the country's fortunes.

If they weren't, you'd be screaming at the top of your lungs for the GOP to impeach Trump and prevent him from ever running for office again.

But you aren't doing that, and it's not hard to figure out why...

No they have not. You cannot debunk what your eyes can see. That is what you are telling me. Something visible to everyone did not happen. C'mon man.

Your interpretation of what you see is the problem. You think that someone opening a suitcase is evidence of voter fraud. It is not. I opened four of them this morning.

If a two-party system is so fucking important to you...

You've leapt to a false conclusion, dear, and from there all of your other thoughts are flawed.

I accept that the two-party system exists because of the dynamics of US politics and the Constitution. The Constitution is important to me, but the two-party system isn't designated in the Constitution.

If was up to me, I'd allow voters to rank their candidates from all parties. If that had been allowed, then GHW Bush would have been President in 1992 and Gore would have been President in 2000. Hillary probaby in 2016, but I haven't studied the dynamics there like the first two.

Regardless, it's not my choice. It's effectively a two-party system regardless if you and I like it or not. I hope this clarifies my thoughts on the subject since you seemed very confused about them.

So...you aren't the one who has been warning about one-party rule because the GOP can't get its shit together?

Exactly, so why do you think there needs to be two viable parties?

Nah. We could just do nationwide popular vote instead. That would settle it.

You seem confused on your thoughts because on the one hand, you're saying that Democrats have to compromise for the Republicans' sake, but on the other, you don't say Republicans have to do the same.

So why should Democrats compromise their beliefs for the sake of a viable Republican party? What sense does that make?
