I just watched some footage of the soldiers that were sent to Greenland as deterrence. I absolutely laughed my ass off as I watched them coming off the plane, the looks on their faces, the poor bastards. I think about how woke the military in Denmark must be and the series of meetings they would have had to determine what forces, how many men, women, and transgender to send on this miss. Then there's how to determine how many they should send and so on. What was the point? Who the hell knows, I'm quite certain that the men and women coming off the plane from the cozy gigs they left behind before getting the call sure as hell don't know why they're there either.
