I read Jill Biden's dissertation. I wrote better stuff as an undergrad. My senior project in industrial engineering was an analysis and planning for the development and production of silicon carbide whisker reinforcements in ceramics based on one of the companies I worked for at the time (a place called Keramont). The spreadsheets got so complex that it was hard to get them to run on a 286 PC, the common PC computer of that time. Even my MA work was far superior. My Master's thesis was on electronic warfare in World War 2 and it was nearly double the length of hers, had a far more extensive bibliography, and showed more research. I'll admit I already had a whole bookshelf of references, and an extensive background in electronics so it was relatively easy for me to do that, but her PhD work is crap.

Carlson and his BA in History, lol. Didn't have the intellectual chops to go any further.
The words in her dissertation were too big for him to understand.
As if a PhD in History would be anymore more important than a PhD in Education.
As much as I love history.
It actually doesn't offer much value yo building up society.
